Rocky in Late November 1998

Rocky went to Rainbow Bridge on Wednesday, September 19, 2001.  He was not doing well at the time of his death.  Rocky was not his usual self.  Since the middle of August 2001, Rocky spent much of his time laying on the kitchen counter.  It was hard for Rocky to get up and down so Mom had a stool by the counter so he could get up on the counter and lay down.  He didn't eat much.  His quality of life was pretty much non-existent.  Rocky began to lose control of his bladder on Tues., Sept. 18, 2001.  On Wednesday, September 19, Dad took Rocky to the vet.  The vet told my human Grandpa that Rocky had kidney failure.  It was decided that Rocky needed to go to Rainbow Bridge.

I miss Rocky so much.  He was a buddy to Callie.  It's lonely here without him.  But I try to have good thoughts of him at Rainbow Bridge.
