My Conditions

I was born with several conditions.  Most of the conditions are connected to one another.  Some are not.

My Facial Anomaly

bright blue square button Hypertelorism (wide-spaced eyes)
bright blue square button Midface hypoplasia (flat appearance to the face)
bright blue square button Absence of lacrimal (tear) ducts
bright blue square button Low-set ears
bright blue square button Absence of paranasal sinuses
bright blue square button Absence of the olfactory system

Mouth

I have a speech impairment due to my cleft palate.  Please visit my Speech Disorder page for more information.

I have TMJ/TMD due to the misalignment of my upper and lower jaw.  Please check out my TMJ/TMD page for more information.

Eyes

I have a condition known as nystagmus.  Please check out my Nystagmus page for more information.

I also have myopia and astigmatism.  Please visit my Low Vision page for more information.

Ears

I have conductive hearing loss.  Please check out my Hearing Loss page for more information.

I have tinnitus even though I have not been officially diagnosed with it.  Please visit my Tinnitus page for more information.

Brain

I have no sense of smell because I was born without an olfactory system.  The condition is called anosmia.  Please check out my Anosmia page for information and links about anosmia.
